About Us
Interface, Inc. ("Interface" or "we" “our”, or "us") develops and provides a messaging application, Beside iOS/Android, and a meeting recording application, Beside macOS/Desktop/Windows, (the "Apps"), which incorporates an Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) intended to facilitate expedited and more accurate user communication. The AI assistant is specifically designed to transcribe verbal communications, summarize conversations, and respond to inquiries.
Interface, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware, United States of America (800 North State Street, Suite 304 in the City of Dover, County of Kent, 19901).
About this Data Privacy Notice
This Notice applies to https://interfaceai.com, https://hearthands.tech, https://hellom1.com and https://beside.com, (each referred to herein as the “Website”), our Apps, or when you otherwise interact with us. For the purposes of this Notice, “you” and “your” means you as the user of our Websites or Apps, whether you are a customer, website visitor, job applicant, representative of a company with whom we do business, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Notice.
In particular, this Privacy Notice applies when you:

- Access or use our Apps,
- Contact our team or complete a web form,
- Participate in our user research activities,
- Otherwise interact or communicate with us.
By accessing or using the Website and/or the Apps, you agree to be bound by and comply with this Notice, therefore we kindly request you to read this document carefully. Please visit this section frequently as we might update and or modify this Notice at any time in which case we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Notice, and any changes will take effect at the time of publishing. If we make material changes to the way in which we use or disclose information we collect, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by posting notice of such changes on our Websites and/or the Apps, or by other means consistent with applicable law) and will take additional steps as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Website and/or the App after the posting of an updated version will be understood as your acceptance of the new version. What categories of Personal Information do we process?
When you use or access our Websites or Apps, we collect certain categories of information about you from a variety of sources.
Some features of the Websites and Apps may require you to directly provide us with certain information about yourself. You may elect not to provide this information, but doing so may prevent you from using or accessing these features.
We also automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Websites and Apps.
We may also obtain information about you from outside sources, including information that we collect directly from third parties and information from third parties that you choose to share with us as set forth in the table below. Any information we receive from outside sources will be treated in accordance with this Notice. We are not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to us by third parties and are not responsible for any third party’s policies or practices.
We use artificial intelligence and machine learning models in our Apps and we rely on services provided by third party service providers whose technologies rely on artificial intelligence and machine learning. By using the App, your communications can be recorded by us and our third-party providers. We ask that you do not enter any sensitive personal information or information that would otherwise be considered objectionable through the App.

What are the purposes of our processing?
We process your Personal Information for the following purposes:

SMS notifications: We use your phone number to send you non-marketing, service-related SMS messages (for example: account alerts and reminders). We share your number with our SMS provider to deliver these messages and retain message-delivery logs until you withdraw your consent or delete your account.
In addition to the specific uses described above, we may use any of the above information to provide you with our Websites and Apps and to maintain our business relationship, including by enhancing the safety and security of our Websites and Apps (e.g., troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, and reporting), providing customer support, sending service and other non-marketing communications, monitoring and analyzing trends, conducting internal research and development, complying with applicable legal obligations, enforcing any applicable terms of service, and protecting our Websites and Apps, our rights, and the rights of our employees, users or other individuals.
Finally, we may deidentify or anonymize your information such that it cannot reasonably be used to infer information about you or otherwise be linked to you (or we may collect information that has already been deidentified/anonymized), and we may use such deidentified information for any purpose.
Who will my Personal Information be disclosed to?

We will disclose your Personal Information:
- Within our group;
- With third parties that provide us services such as storage and hosting providers analytical, technical, and diagnostic services, marketing communications, analytics, identity verification, and payment processing;
- With third parties service providers whose technologies rely on artificial intelligence and machine learning, including model providers and machine language hosting;
- With third parties to whom you request or direct us to interact with, such as through your use of certain features available through our Websites and Apps;
- With our counsels, notably for compliance with our statutory obligations, in particular in terms of accounting, auditing and internal control;
- With third parties in connection with or anticipation of an asset sale, merger, or other business transaction, including in the context of a bankruptcy;
- Where required or permitted by applicable law, to governmental authorities, courts, external advisors, and similar third parties, to enforce any applicable terms of service, and to ensure the safety and security of our business, employees, and users.
All use of your Personal Information by such third parties shall be made in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
For the aforementioned reasons, you expressly acknowledge that we are not responsible and/or liable for the way said third parties will use your Personal Information.
If you are part of a Shared Line subscription, your team-related activity (calls, messages, transcripts, attachments) is visible to all users with access to the Shared Line inbox. Invited members operate under the identity of the Account Owner (as defined below) and share the same communication number. All Teams Data is subject to access and audit by the individual who is designated as the Account Owner, who is responsible for managing and controlling data access by members of the Shared Line subscription (“Account Owner”).
If you participate in our referral program, we may share limited data (such as your name and email address) with third-party service providers for the purposes of delivering your reward (e.g., digital gift card providers).
We use Intercom to provide in-app support and facilitate communication with our users. When you interact with us via chat or email, your contact details and message history may be processed by Intercom. Intercom may also collect metadata such as device and usage information to enhance service performance.
When you connect your calendar via the App, we use Cal.com to manage availability checks and event creation. Cal.com receives access tokens that allow it to view and manage your calendar, including reading existing events and creating new ones. You can revoke this access at any time via your calendar provider settings.
If you choose to enable our Zapier integration, you may automatically send your call transcripts, summaries, and related data to third-party applications (e.g., Google Docs, Notion, CRM platforms). Zapier acts as a data conduit based on your explicit configuration and is not used unless you authorize and set up a workflow. You are responsible for ensuring that the destination services comply with your data handling requirements.
We use analytics and visualization tools such as Vercel, Metabase, and Google BigQuery to power internal dashboards used by our team to analyze how users interact with the product. These dashboards help us understand usage patterns, support product improvements, and ensure a high-quality experience. Access to these tools is restricted to authorized personnel and requires the use of our internal VPN.
Multiple Lines Data
If you are subscribed to the Business Plan, you may create multiple private inboxes, each with its own number, call history, and settings. All inboxes are personal and accessible only to the Account Owner.

How long do we keep your Personal Information?
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes of processing referred to in this Notice.
Please note that your mobile device identifiers, such as Apple IDFA or Google AAID - which are technical identifiers developed by mobile operating systems, remain under your control and can be reset or erased at any time through your device settings.
Conditions for Use
You have to be at least 18 years old to access and use the Websites and/or the Apps as we do not direct our services to persons under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”). Children must leave the Websites now and refrain from using the Apps as we do not solicit or knowingly collect any online information from Children.
If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Information without parental or guardian consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@beside.com and we will take steps to remove such Personal Information.
Referral Program
Participation in the referral program is optional. If you choose to refer others or sign up using a referral code, we may collect and process data such as your referral code, referral status, and email for the purpose of program administration and reward delivery.
Participation is governed by the Referral Program Terms, and your personal data will be processed in accordance with this Notice. You may opt out of referral program communications at any time by contacting privacy@beside.com.
Cookies Policy
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer's hard drive, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. We use cookies to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some or all portions of our Websites and/or the Apps. The Websites use the cookies referred to above in the chart regarding categories of Personal Information we process. By accessing and using the Websites and the Apps you agree to the use of the cookies described therein. Your browser settings may allow you to transmit a “do not track” signal, “opt-out preference” signal, or other mechanism for exercising your choice regarding the collection of your information when you visit various websites. Like many websites, our Website is not designed to respond to such signals, and we do not use or disclose your information in any way that would legally require us to recognize opt-out preference signals. Some data in the Apps may be stored locally on your device using local file systems or application logs, and is not subject to traditional browser cookie settings.

We have no control over those other websites, and this Notice does not apply to them. Please refer to their respective privacy policies to learn how they collect and use your Personal Information.
